Yo Stewarty! Great to see you here!!!

Personally I love to see genetic diversity like this....reminds me of the infinite potential of creation. Someone here recently posted picks of a blue & tan (I had never seen on in Pei before that) from a litter of all black & tans. These were also UK dogs I believe.

I would love to trace the pedigrees on some of these uncommon color patterned pups...I just find it fascinating!

Could you post a bigger pic? They look really nice, almost like a rottweiler's markings on a shar pei body.

hello I am a housewife from the Netherlands and also have a black and tan sharpei
he is really special but his character is really a Sharpei he is very watchful and sometimes very dominant .... not to the older dog at us but to dogs outside
that is unfortunate but well he lives in so that's the most important
with strange people I have to do a little different because sometimes he would sometimes like the fabric of the pants testing hihihih
I love him but I often say my Barli Bartje because that better fits his character
once people reached us he is the greatest friend and shares his bone still with you
So I must say a black and tan .... is really a separate sharpei sharpei him I would not want to miss
Besides this, I have a red sharpei sharpei that is the opposite ... which is very sweet and can handle everything
but is very nervous example, he is afraid of men and motors fireworks but that is to happen
That is Brunjo who hold most of the ladies visit ... so you see a new couple to your forum added to this .... Regards Jean and Brunjo and Barli

Welcome! Love the different patterns in Pei. There are several lines we have seen this pointed pattern in (Black & Tan, Chocolate & Tan and Blue & tan)....most of these I have seen are in UK or european lines.
