Yesterday evening I was chatting with an swedish Sp breeder on facebook, that helped me years ago, when I was new to peis.
What she told me,make my heart stopped beating.
In Sweden much fewer peis are going to shows lately, there has been alot of discussions in public of the peis bad healths and now they want to see horsecoats and much fewer wrinkles on the peis being showed.
In Sweden they have taken many bloodsamples for the FSF research and worked together with Linda Tintle and two people I know was told their peis was healthy.Wonder if this was the reason for changing side to the less wrinkled pei????
Anyway I had to ask a dane if this was also going on in Denmark and she replied, this has be known for about a year now and danish breeders have started slowly to breed more horsecoats and lesser wrinkles.
HaHa I come from cold north and I know nothing of whats going on there.
I adore a good horsecoat,so I am happy and if they look traditional I am even more happy.
But what will happend now in the near future, maybe this is why breeders of traditional peis are having such a hard time out there and have to eat words like mongrels and mix and why they have to fight so hard against the brushcoat breeders on shows.
This is a good day for me :D :D :D

I truly feel the standard will swing once there is a test for FSF. In the meantime we will see what happens.
It would take how many Generations of breeding to eliminate only time will tell. But we have a lot of technology and science on our side today!

I LOVE the traditional!!! I'll never forget when i use to show 20+ years ago you didn't see to many meatmouths at that time nor did you see one with A LOT of wrinkles. I do have a picture of a female that i showed her name was "Baby do" and she was from California, she was nasty.......no, really, she was gross, full of oil in her skin. YUCK!

Like i said.....I LOVE ME SOME TRADITIONALS!!! :)
