Duke talks...Non-stop...It's kinda hard to describe...It isn't whinging or howling or anything like that...He just makes funny little sounds all the time...They are adorably cute (: I have never had a dog that has been so chatty so I was wondering if this is a Pei thing or a Duke thing?

He also runs around like a nutcase...I swear he is at warp speed...It is hilarious to watch (: And he pounces O.o kinda like a cat does with a toy...He goes nuts with the tennis ball...He bats it around with his paws and pounces on it when it rolls away (:

Hehe, I love watching my pei zoom around. She does it especially before going poop, I think it helps get things moving.

Boo talks nonstop, too, and mostly sounds disapproving. She grunts at me a lot and does this gargle noise - not sure what that one means.

I'm pretty sure a pei dictionary could be written from all they have to say :)

I am a fairly new Pei owner so I am new to the Pei language....but I love it! Bang and Layla have conversations...just like brother and sister fussing at one another. This may go on for several minutes as they argue over a toy that one took from the other. The funniest thing is one waits until the other is done then they start. They don't talk at the same time.LOL You just have to love them. My husband and I so amused every day!

Yes. Diva is a grunter. That girl grunts for any possible reason.
Fill the water bowl, whoops the favy toy fell out of bed--pick it up, you should give me
some of that banana, you need to open the blinds so I can look out the window,
you need to admire this odd twig I just brought you.....

thats in the first fifteen minutes of the day! ROFL

Momo is usually very quiet, except when she sees something interesting. Then she screams and it sounds like a cross between a sheep's beee, a child screaming (REALLY screaming) and a dog's bark. Makes us laugh every time.
Shenzi is a talker, though. It's like she's complaining, when she has to go to another room, or get off the couch or go inside or when I tell her to be quiet and go away from the fence. She reminds me of a grumpy teenager, saying "Okay okay, I'm going, geez, you're so annoying.". :)

Chyna zooms all the time, especially just after waking up and going potty, but she's not too much of a talker. She rarely barks so far (which I'm enjoying honestly :P), but she does this kind of huff instead when she hears someone which I think is so cute :D

Well that and she snores and huffs/runs in her sleep which I find hilarious hehe
