A few questions...

I am wondering if anyone knows what a specific set of numbers are while looking at pedigree info.

Example:

Panache Outback Red Chesapke
NM352118/04 10-92
Red
OFA25G

The only question I have is about the "10-92"

This does not seem to coincide with the month/year the animal was born. Is this when the registration was completed? Also - Is there a way to determine the year each animal in a given pedigree was born?

Are there any genetic concerns that should be considered when a specific sire shows up 3 times in a single pedigree (once via the sires line and 2 times via the dam's line)?

I have registered Bob and when looking at his 5 gen pedigree I see that Storm Surge is listed 3 times. Just learning here... Is this normal?

Here is a link to his pedigree (be advised it will open as an .pdf file, best viewed at 150% : http://db.tt/Qh5DsGDq

Nevermind that question - After looking through the "archives" all the way back to 1958, I can see that this isn't all that unusual.

That date is the date they are listed in the breed's Stud Books.

:)
