And sooo....
Hunter was not crate-trained but I worked with him and thought he'd be ok with it. The first night he was with my family he broke out of his kennel with his nose. It looked rug-burned but it was healing and the family was keeping ointment on it.

And so last night I crated him again only to wake up to a VERY badly rug burned nosed Hunter. Ok so I had to go to work and son would be home in a few hours. I put up a VERY tall dog gate to keep him at least in the main hallway as he's been urinating (probably due to the antibiotics) alot. Son comes home and the gate is down.

I'm not sure what to do with him about this. He's def healthy and alot more active for sure. I just don't think he should have free range of the house though he feels differently. It maybe daycare with the grandparents at this rate!

I cannot contain Serenity (flying monkey dog) either. She sails over gates. I dont usually contain mine anyway except when the girls are in season and I am not breeding them. Easier to block off acess to rooms where they dont need to go than to contain them to one room.

Oscar can not be contained. He actually did more damage to himself when we tried a couple of times. he does fine outside of the crate.
