i know i've seen posts regarding deer antlers on here, but i'm having trouble narrowing them down...those of you who use these (in the states), where have you ordered them from? my friend was going to buy one (ONE) for her pup today but a single one was $25 is there anywhere you can order them online in bulk for cheaper or......how wise would it be to collect some from the wild? she lives in montana and antlers are ALL over the foothills.

Here you go. Thanks to Buster I have been ordering from them over a year now. They ship priority mail and great service. I get the medium half antler's with the exposed marrow. 25 dollars for 1 is outragous give this company a try I think she will be happy. http://shop.antlerpantry.com/main.sc

Mine love these. Miss Ladonna sends them (she is so good to us). I imagine that antlers are antlers....of course I would clean them really well if you give them found antlers as opposed to purchased ones.

I bought a piece of an Antler here in Colorado. It was a fairly small piece (about 5 inches). My doggies chewed on it for a bit ,but they would prefer the bully sticks and flossies. (which I couldn't believe what they were when they told me - YUCKY!!!)

I went back to look for the link that was posted earlier. It was posted by Scamp. Linda sells them at the Antler pantry. I am very pleased with the antlers that were sent http://www.antlerpantry.com/They last longer than the nyla bones and we have them too. I don't see mine favoring one type over the other. They are all intermingled on the floor for us to step on.

$25 sounds about right for an antler. Though I get them from a small independent shop, so i am willing to pay a little more b/c I really like the place. That and they last quite some time. HOwever i can imagine that if your dog spends a majority of the day gnawing at it, then yeah it would be a bit much to replace often. I still prefer the antler over any other type of chewie.

I would never pay $25 for an antler. As posted above I get them from Linda at antler pantry. She ships right away and I usually end up getting money back

I was paying about $20 for elk antlers and Tobler loved them. We found out the hard way that he has bad teeth. He just had to have 2 molars cut out that he had broken from chewing antlers. I'm not blaming the antlers. Apparently, bad teeth run in his family. I think they are worth every penny if your dog has good strong teeth.

Ive noticed that my guy likes the ones that have been sawed in half (length-wise) a lot more than the others. I live in CO and so Ive found tons of antlers while hiking. Never thought to pick them up till I got a dog lol
