Hi all,

I've heard from other dog owners about "brush burn" erupting after using a high-intensity brush like the FURminator and also that Shedmonster works a little bit better and do not hurt dog's skin. I'm concerned because my peis have very sensitive skin due to mucinosis and I don't want to cause harm to there skin.

Has anyone tried any of these tools? Recomendations or comments?

Thanks!

i am not familiar with the shedmonster but i have used a furminator on harrison and will never again. his skin is so sensitive and paper thin that the last time i used it on him it tore his back up from collar to tail...and i wasnt even brushing him hard...so i have since got a "zoom groom" for him and it works just as well.

Same thing that happened to Harrison happened to Leia. I gave my Furminator away.
