I agree with a built in re-sizer for the pics & for the avatar. I am also on an African Grey forum & they have the option of everyone having a blog if they choose & an album site for standard pics of everyone's animals that you can look at when you look up that person. Just a thought.

Oh God the re-sizer would be awesome. There are so many great pics I can't share because it won't let me post them, and being computer slow I can't re-size them myself.

I was wondering, because I haven't seen it already, if we could get a list of "Things to look for" if your a new Shar Pei owner and may not know that something could be bothering your Peiby and therefore you don't ask on the forum.

I know myself that I'm always concerned and it may cost people less in vet visits if they know that it's not really that big a deal and then the could refer to maybe a "Home Remedies" section on here to fix the problem.

Oh and, sorry for getting off topic before Alan, I know where to post such questions now though thanks. And I also vote for a resizer, It is kind of a pain to have two pictures, one high quality and then have to shrink it, save it to post it.

I have another idea and a suggestion.

Could we add some sort of metric to english converter on here. I for the life of me have no idea what 23kg are. I know I could look it up, but in the interest of convenience.

Suggestion, Could we change the forum name of "The Rest of the Issues" to something else? For non Shar Pei owners potentially looking to buy and ending up here, it just doesn't sound good IMHO. "Let's see, Shar Pei health, nutrition, oh wait, other issues too!! That's it, we're getting a bulldog!". Just being funny there, but you get the point.

I like the above idea and Sumo's Daddy post from another thread. (I just quoted it below to keep all the ideas in one spot.)

I also like the "Daily Digest" options like Yahoo groups has. This would also cut down on the number of e-mails people get if you chose that option. I know with their groups you can choose between the daily digest or individual e-mails.

I've seen some really good pics of Pei on here in different threads. I just think it would be nice to bring the best of the best together, then each week we could see who has the best one. Then maybe at the end of a year's time frame you could have a "Shar-Pei Forums Yearbook". Don't know if that sounds corny, but I think it would give a lot of people a chance to really participate in this site more, not to mention, Alan could make a little money with the yearbook thing to help keep this fantastic site up and running. And maybe to purchase a little more storage space for all the pictures....

Oh, no, I understand, I didn't mean to come off like that, I realized after I submitted the thread that it could have gone in a better area. Just the Profiles forum is my favorite and I get stuck in there a lot.

What about a "buddy list" of some sort where you can see who enters and leaves the forum. That way, we can always know when our friends are in.

Maybe a box under or near the shout outs.

I just thought of another interesting idea. I have seen a lot of sites that have the map/globe where all the members can mark where they are. We have such an international group here I think it would be interesting to see.
