So my friend and I decided this week that we are going to start our own magazine. We are getting our website up and running in the next week or two, we are going to do an e-zine with a limited print release probably by pre-order. I am very excited and hopefully if anything it can helpme in my own writing career with my attempts to get my novels published =).

We are going to accept short stories, art, and poetry that is paranormal related. We are also going to allow stories of personal paranormal experiences =).

Update! Our submissions are out of control =). We have filled the first issue and part of the second and that is with being super picky! We reject about 90% of what we get submitted. Can't wait for the first issue to be out.

Wow! I knew there was something I was going to do and I somehow forgot. I look forward to seeing the finished product though!

Magazine's starting up is always exciting! Do you think you guy'll do a web published magazine or print? Web published just seems more cost effective is why I'm asking.

I apologize dudfirst I did not see this until now. We did both web-based and print. We dissolved after the October issue because our social media director and other editor in chief quit to put more effort back in school and it was too much to handle alone. Oddly enough, we sold many more print copies than online. I would say mainly due to the cover art that my husband drew, made it look very comic book-like.
